Occasionally I keep getting an ad that redirects me to another website that pops up a window and buzzes my phone. This is on Android and chrome
 
Same here, but only happened to me when non-logged. Until I logged in. No issues...unless I'm logged out and it would popped up again. It's friggin annoying.
 
Checked on iOS on chrome and safari, had a popup but clicked cancel to get out of it.
 
Same issue here.

There's an occasional malicious ad that hijacks your phone forcing you to click on their ads items. Won't let you back out.

Occurs on android chrome and the mobile version of this site.
 
im now getting them on chrome desktop

using adblock until this is fixed.
 
Yep, been getting those dam you won a 1k gift card for weeks now on my iPhone 5s, happens multiple times a session and just happened.

Edit: Talk about irritating, happened 3 times in less then a min. this morning on my phone!

The forum is almost unusable today on my mobile. Using an iPhone 6S with Safari and almost every time I refresh or change pages I'm being redirected for a "free $100 giftcard", or this new one that started today, which is actually trying to open my App Store to download a "free app" even though I'm cancelling and trying to close the window.

The AppStore one is especially annoying because it's popping up extremely frequently. Just started today and it's popped up almost a dozen times in 30 minutes of browsing.

The gift card has been ongoing for almost a month, maybe longer.

Not on mobile, but today some auto-play video ads have appeared in the banner ads with sound enabled - definitely not ok or reasonable for browsing a forum. They're also extremely laggy and bring the whole browser to a crawl.

I'm also getting the dumb ones from last year that take 3 backs to get away from.... so often that I find myself hitting back multiple times on rage out of habit.


If there are options to shop around for ad providers or restrict what can be shown on the site, I think it's time to look into them (again?).
 
Cant even use the site on mobile anymore. How can it have gotten this bad and nothing has been done yet?
 
Well clearly the site is on it's last breaths. Mods aren't responding and the site is unusable.
