Metro Exodus - Enhanced Edition

Start around the 45 second mark of the video where they mention it is a free standalone update coming out on May 6th. Mentioned here as well:

Also, did you see those DLSS 2.1 shots? Very impressed how DLSS improved from since it first came out.

Lastly, AMD 6800 owners may not want to see those performance figures towards the end of the video. :lol:
 
I'm looking forward to playing this game for the first time. I bought the game a while ago but was waiting for this update.

I am now playing my first RTX/DLSS game which is Control Ultimate.

Why? The Frame rates are completely playable and with freesync on would be buttery smooth.
 
I've yet to finish this game, but I'll give it a 4th attempt after the update I guess.

I don't get the hype. It's far worse than the first two imo. I loved Last Light, and blazed through both games when they came out. I've tried so many times to get into Exodus, but it's just not there.
 
That’s tight. May seems like a month to do gaming in. Village plus Exodus plus ME legendary. I am sure I will get bored and not finish a single game but still... yay! After the absolute shite months of Jan - Apr.

Actually I felt the same as you when I first started playing Exodus. Thought the move going more towards open world gameplay was a mistake at first. But as I kept playing it grew on me and now I think Exodus is definitely the best game in the series so far. Its the closest thing to a modern STALKER we've gotten yet. Even the occasional crashing I was getting didn't deter me from loving the game.

I'm not going to play this new update when it releases since I only just played through the game a few months ago. But I will definitely play it at some point soon.
 
If I had to be critical, during the DF showcase I couldn't help but notice 2 things that bother me. Both minor and one even DF noted.

1) The new DOF is bleh.
2) I'm not liking how the game now blows out high-lights like it 2004 and they just discovered HDRR lighting techniques :lol:. Hope that can be adjusted, or just doesn't happen with an HDR display.

But that's being fairly nitpicky, because :drool: it looks pretty awesome.
