"The PlayStation 4 exclusive Horizon: Zero Dawn will come to personal computers this year, sources tell Kotaku. It’s an unprecedented move for Sony that signals a future in which the publisher releases games on platforms beyond its own consoles.

Horizon: Zero Dawn, an open-world game set in a post-apocalyptic version of the United States that has been overrun by robot dinosaurs, launched for PS4 in February 2017.

Now, three years later, Horizon will be on another platform for the first time. We expect to see the game on both Steam and the Epic Games Store when it launches (although that may not be finalized yet)."(full article)

Gaming is going to be very weird over the next few years imo.

Consoles are not going to be discrete systems with their own games. Most games will launch across several systems (e.g. xbone, xbone x, xbone series x). You'll probably have crossplay more often than not, even for shooters. Xbox Game Studios are pushing for PC / Xbox at the same time and it looks like Sony are coming around to the idea.

HZD was a great game but I probably wouldn't buy it again on PC.
 
Welp. My PS4 bucket list really only consists of Horizon: Zero Dawn and The Last Guardian anymore. Time to consider selling the thing off. :bleh:
 
Right - Give me God of War at 120fps in 3440x1440.
 
Hopefully at a fair and decent price. None of that $60 shite for a 3 year old game.

HZD is an amazing title, excellent choice on Sony's part.

I hope we see Bloodborne as well :drool:
 
It’s still a rumour regardless how reliable he is, though I’d love to see Sony games on pc. Sony must know that there’s people who’d buy there games but wouldn’t buy a PlayStation.

I could see them doing this to compete with MS. I don't have game pass or an Xbox, but it seems to be a great model to rake in some $$.

I hope it happens, and if it does, gee...what better way to kick it off than a remastered Demon's Souls for PC?

It'll probably never happen, but I can fantasize about it :p
 
I've had HZD for my PS4 for a couple years. One of these days I should actually play it.

It's one of the few titles I can't recommend enough. The gameplay is flawless, the story is pretty deep and actually hits the feels, and it is just a beautiful game to look at. 10/10 for me.

Yeah I've heard that. Just boils down to a matter of time for me. Oh how I miss the days when I had fewer obligations and more time to spend on gaming.
