Overall a good puzzle game. You select colors and attempt to turn the entire board into a single color. You start in the upper left corner of the board and attempt to work your way to the other 3 corners. There are 3 skill levels, but you have several options for board colors.

It's a simple game to understand, but challenging enough to keep you coming back. The games don't take long so it's a good 5-10 minute diversion which keeps your mind active. It does have adds, but they aren't annoying.

I've never tried this on a smartphone, but it looks and runs great on my Xoom. The controls take a little playing to get used to, but they are much more useful than some of the other action games. The game reminds me a lot of the old game Chaos Engine which I spent a LOT of hours playing. ;) The AI teammate is not the smartest and at least currently, they don't have multiplayer. It will be a solid game with that addition.

I no it kills the portability but a connecting a wiiremote works really well. There is a free app in the market to set it up as another keyboard device.

Old RPGs work really well to cause you don't need to be fast. Been playing Fina lFantasy IX without a problem.

Bought that over the weekend. Pretty cool game from the makers of Reckless Racing. The graphics aren't outstanding (at least on my Xoom), but the gameplay makes up for it. It's kind of like Reckless Racing crossed with Spy Hunter with some Bump 'n Jump mixed in. ;)

If you are familiar with the Backbreaker football series, this is another "smaller" game from the same company. Unlike the original Backbreaker mobile offering, this version has defensive drills as well as offensive drills (the original only had offense). In the end, it's still NOT a full football game but just a set of drills to run. It's entertaining for a day or two, but not much beyond that. If you already have purchased or played the original Backbreaker mobile game, you already know what to expect here so don't waste your money. If you don't have the original Backbreaker, I'd still suggest skipping it.
 
Super Stick Golf is going to be free for release tomorrow. One of my favorite games dont forget to pick it up. Although there is no multiplayer for you android guys its still fun.
 
i tried game dev story this morning, bought it after i ran the 4 years of the free version, been hooked to it all day, productivity was low today :bleh:

First off, there is a free version you can try. The video pretty much sums up the options. The gameplay is pretty simple to get into and it played extremely smooth on my Xoom. It does warn you that the first swerve will have some stuttering, but after that it's smooth. It's no Virtua Tennis, but it is a solid game. It's more like a retro tennis game but still a lot of fun.
 
Man I totally forgot to post in this thread yesterday. Amazon App of the Day was Symphony of Eternity, kind of an old-school 2D Final Fantasy clone jRPG. First game I spent playing on my nook color for 4 hrs straight :drool:

If you guys are FF-classic fans, you should definitely check it out.

Quoted this from the iOS thread as this is also on Android. It's ok. It's not like the PC tower defense games I've played in the past. There is a set path in which the enemies will come and you have a limited number of set build spots for your towers.
