Man Samsung is bringing the heat with this generation of their phones. Its the first time in a long time that I have felt I wanted to try Android again.

Top features for me:

  • Damn near full screen front
  • Fingerprint reader under the screen
  • Reverse charging(Im not sure Id use it but damn cool)

I also might get a pair of those galaxy wireless headphones as well pending reviews. The price is right.

Pre-ordered my S10 this morning with 128gb storage and 8gb ram prism black. Traded in my S8 64gb for £250 so cost me £549 overall. Joined the Samsung upgrade programme so I got 0% interest free over 24 months (£20.58) and can upgrade to new phone each year. TBH I usually skip a generation but I might as well keep the money in my account if they're offering 0% finance.

Looks a nice upgrade over my S8. I'm already on Android Pie beta and UI so know what to expect and I really like them both. Looking forward to receiving it 7th March.
 
Ugh, hole punch camera setup. Really?
I dont like notches, I dont like hole punches. Just keep a slim bezel and call it a day.
 
Hole punch is better than a notch. Especially if its off to the side like the S10. IMO.
 
The S10 is a sexy phone, but not enough of an upgrade from my Note 9. Still loving that one.

I heard you get the galaxy earphone free if you pre-ordered the s10.
 
yea, I really don't get the appeal of the fold.
And the front screen is tiny to boot. wonky cutouts when open...and again...why would you want this device?

Now, a TABLET that did that, rather than a PHONE would be interesting. We're used to carrying larger tablets/ipads. Mix in the stylus and they might have a market there.

You sure do. Supposed to be worth £130 so not too shabby. I'd buy the S10 anyway as I think it's a good upgrade from the S8 and fits nicely into my 2 year refresh cycle. If I had the S9 I'd wait till S11 or whatever it's going to be called.
 
Still rocking my Note 5.

Ain't paying $1000 for a phone. Just won't. $550-700 is my max price range for a phone with features similar to the Note 5.

I came across a rumor, that the note 10 might move back to the flat edge screen instead of the rounded edge screen. God I hope so, loved my note 5, love my note 8 except for the rounded edges. Son loves his note 9. But in all honesty, I probably would go for the S10 if it wasn't for the rounded edges as I don't use the s-pen much anymore. But that would be the only reason I would rock the S10.. so I have no real reason to replace my phone right now.

What I said above just went out the window, as some things have sorta changed. My girlfriends phone went on the fritz (she dropped it, and now she only hear stuff if it is on speaker phone - piece of crap LG phone). I was going to give her my old note 5 which is in perfect condition, and call it a day. Been wanting to get me a set of True wireless Earbuds for work, so I purchased the Jabra Elite Active 65T a few days ago. But then I found out I can get $200 trade in on my note 5. I get Samsung's new True Wireless Earbuds (wireless charging to boot) If I preorder. So with the trade in, the free True Wireless earbuds, the fact I really don't use the s-pen much over all, and the one annoyance of the note 8 that sealed the deal for me reared it's head yesterday when my son was in the car with me (slow bluetooth connectivity to my car's head unit, as my son's note 9 connects almost instantly where it takes over a minute with the note8) I decided rather than give my note 5 to the girlfriend, she can have my note 8, and I pre-ordered me the S10+. I will just have to wait about 6 weeks or so for the headphones (Returned the Jabra Eliltes).. no biggie.

Anyone want massive storage to go with their new s10? There's a sale on the Samsung 512gb microSD for $130 at Amazon.

I really like the more compact S10e model but we only get the one with 128GB storage and 6GB RAM here in Hong Kong. Considering the S10 doesn't cost that much more do you guys think it's a better choice? Really hard to decide. :confused:
