When the young lord is captured, nothing will stop you on a perilous quest to regain your honor, not even death itself.

Explore late 1500s Sengoku Japan, a brutal period of constant life and death conflict, as you come face to face with larger than life foes in a dark and twisted world. Unleash an arsenal of deadly prosthetic tools and powerful ninja abilities while you blend stealth, vertical traversal, and visceral head to head combat in a bloody confrontation.

Take Revenge. Restore your honor. Kill Ingeniously.

I wish this game is not like Blood porn and Dark shite. As the premise and scenery was engaging.

At the beginning I was disappointed this game didn't seem to have as much intrigue as DS/Bloodborne but having watched a couple of plays... I think the stealth and traversal may make up for it, I am not sure.

I think the art direction of it (what has been shown) feels a little... old by now. Nioh, Ninja Gaiden, Ghost of Tsushima... etc.

You are the one who is probably shi-t at playing those games.

Yes this is actually my most anticipated game right now. Big Souls fan as you can tell from my avatar.

Mods please merge with my original thread to avoid confusion.

You will happy to know its actually quite different.

I have been on media blackout to avoid spoilers of any kind, but I do know it not at all a standard "Souls" type game. Its not even really an RPG with character building, from what I can tell. More like Zelda than Souls. I'm thinking the expected similarities that will remain constant as in most Miyazaki games are the advanced combat mechanics, and cryptic lore delivery.

Copies are in the wild and there are players streaming this right now on twitch if anyone wants to check it out.

yeah if your computer believes it resides in japan, you can play it now

opening cinematic is pretty epic. make no mistake, this is definitely dark souls in japan with stealth.

Looks like they've found a way to add mobility to the souls formula without making it sloppy like bloodborne.

It looks really neat.

I get the impression there might be a tab bit more hand-holding, regardless of what the devs are saying? And the combat is much more visceral - Off to work :(

Just asked for a Nioh refund (played less than 2 hours just yesterday, first time since Winter sale purchase) so I can buy Sekiro "25EUR cheaper", lol. But really, didn't enjoy Nioh all that much during the first couple levels. Nowhere near Souls quality. So I said damn it, I'd rather own the better "Nioh" if I have to. :D

Edit: Damn, didn't realize refunds only apply to less than 2 hours played AND less than 14 days since purchase. Oh well, Sekiro full price it is then.
