SNES Mini

Of course its still not going to replicate the nostalgic authenticity of real scanlines on a CRT, but its a small sacrifice to enjoy gaming with the sharpness and screen size of an HDTV.

The 4.5x scanlines look gross.

I am having to re-learn how to play these games. I had a SNES back in 1992 when I was about 11 years old, but man, some of these games are brutal. I did the first stage of Contra 3 without dying, then I tried Earthworm Jim and I couldnt complete the first stage.

One thing I will say is that I think they stretched too far with Star Fox 2. It was a great idea, but the execution just doesn't work for me and I dont think the game works in the manner in which they were attempting.

It's the input lag for me.

I used to fly through the SMB games. Now I get rekt by goombas.

Actually i've never really console gamed (in any form) in about 15 years. I found out that by putting it in game mode, it actually removed a lot of the input lag I was getting. I can tell there still is some, but its minimal now compared to before.
