So, I'm Feeling Nostalgic And Created A Matrix Of All The Video Cards I Owned.

Ati Rage 8mb
Voodoo 2 SLI
Riva TNT 2
Rage128
some Ati cards
Ati 9700 Pro
Radeon 7500
some Ati cards
Gtx 1080
Rtx 2080
Rtx 2080ti
if you guys won't admit to having Titan V or Titan RTX then ok, I won't either, I just substituted them in the list with the Rtx 2080 & 2080ti. And btw I liked those days in the late 90's with the Voodoo 2 sli setup and my Ati agp card with Forsaken and Unreal.

I remember Forsaken and before that Descent. What was so neat that the titles and genres were so new back then. Does anyone remember Total Annihilation?

Yeah TA used to be a CPU/GPU killer back in the day, especially with the more units you produced. It's been awhile but I seem to recall that there was no unit limit. You could easily bring your system to its knees with a massive army.

Total Annihilation nerd here, got the original cd set, the play disc had all the atmospheric music.
Plus all the add ons like core contingency + a couple gigs of custom maps.

Re bought on steam and still play it every now and then.

originally it had an adjustable 250 unit limit, but a later they increased that to 500 and with an ini tweak you could have unlimited. So if you played for long enough you turn it into a slide show.

Man, VLB was the BOMB of it's time. My dad's machine at that time was all ISA, if memory serves. Having that VLB slot for a video card was almost the predecessor to AGP, in a distant way.
