The "I want to buy a 30x0 card from a Rager" thread

Any one interested in my EVGA GeForce RTX 3090 FTW3 ULTRA HYBRID GAMING, 24G-P5-3988-KR? Never had a single issue. Never mined with it. Currently running it under-volted during games.

My cost + shipping = $2043.94

That's what I'm selling it for: $2043.94 + shipping (and insurance) to you.

I can do Venmo or PayPal. If you add buyer protection with PayPal then add 3% to the total cost.

Cont. US Only.

PM me if interested.

Also, I won't mail it out until Monday of next week. My new card won't arrive until Friday.

That’s a tight deal. I will give you 250 dolla for it. :bleh:

So, the extended warranty doesn't transfer, only the original 3-year warranty. Lowered the price $20.

Mr. Linus found a brand new 480 for his tests. The results are pretty telling. I wouldn't have an issue buying a mining card, as long as it's not a Palit :p

or Gigabyte!

I can vouch that the ASUS 3090s are rock solid, EVGA 3090s are solid and still game perfectly as they did day 1. MSI, even Zotac still the same.
Gigabyte eagle 3090 is a POS! I think they used toothpaste and spread it over the VRAM, then put yogurt and poop all over it. Anyways I'm done with Gigabyte. You shouldn't have to mod a card the moment you buy it.

My 30xx series experience goes as follows:
At the top is Asus and Evga.
MSI next
even Zotac does decent
10 levels below all them is Gigabyte.

I think the point of my story is F Gigabyte, and that after 9 months of mining all cards perform the same as day 1, and Gigabyte performs crappy same as the first day.

I have a Gigabyte 3070 that is pushing the Gs and mining the same.

I should rephrase. 3060ti/70 are fine no matter what as it uses GDDR6. 80/90 use GDDR6x which is why I dissed gigabyte. Have a 3060ti eagle that does fine.

I have a 3070 TI for sale, just pay MSRP + tax + Paypal + shipping. ASUS TUF OC

MSRP 949
Tax 10% $1045 + paypal 3% = $1075 + So plan on about $1150 with insurance.

If not just gonna return it to Microcenter

Yeah I wouldn't have got a Gigabyte 3080 if there was a actual choice last year when I got this card.

POS thermalpads that leak oil when they get hot, plus they cool like dogshit.

Gigabyte seems to be slowly going worse and worse.

Doubt I'll be making a GPU purchase anytime soon either new or used, but as to the value of a used mining card...

silicon degradation asise, I think another concern a buyer of a used GPU should have is if the card has run at max load 24/7 for a year or so....what sort of shape are the fans in? Seems like they've have to be getting close to failure. So then youv'e got the cost of replacing them, too.

For me dust wise the cards are like new. Closed AC room. Dust only comes in when I open the door. The fans I wonder about since they run 24/7. How long til failure? Gotta be a good number of year?

Gays I am pushing only 120 watts through my cards and fans are at 30-60% depending on card model. Temps are from 40-63 C also depending on card model. There is no dust. I sold 9 1080 Tis and never heard a problem (those were all water cooled too). Not sure wtf peeps are going on about mining and degradation.

Mining cards have lower resale value everywhere.

In fact it is a no buy for some people if a card was used for mining.

It doesn't matter if the card works as intended but mining in the eyes of the public is synonymous with ''abuse". That is the public perception which determines the resale value.

Sold my cards usually higher than market price at the time so don’t know wtf you talking about. Let me know when you actually have any experience buying or selling mining cards.
