Come on you satchmos, what did you do to stay in shape today?

ATG Squats for me tonight.

Biked to work and back. Pretty short distance 10km. But actually recovering from my last workout on Tuesday. Legs and buttocks still sore from that one.

Haven't done anything yet today, after I watch last night's Colbert and Daily Show I'll be going on a 15mi bike ride. Yesterday I did legs and abs in the weight room, good n sore from that.

Leg day. Apparently Kevin Nash works out at my gym here in Daytona. Saw him this afternoon, but he has a severe case of chicken legs. This explains why he always wears pants in the ring.

So he's a lightbulb too?

God I hate lightbulbs.

8 KM walk every weekday, try to change things up on the weekends by doing something different.

Just got in from my bike ride, 15.63mi at a 13.24mph pace, 1:10.34. My best pace for a longer ride yet. Can do 14+ mph on short rides, under 10mi, but on long rides it's been in the upper 11/lower 12mph range, so improvement is awesome. I also find that I actually ride better the day after my lower body workout than any other day of the week.

Are you going uphill most of it? Even my mountain bike does 24ish mph average on flat terrain.

Is your bike a cheap piece of crap? Yes, there are a lot of hills here, and my GPS program confirms that the majority of the ride is uphill.

My bike is a pretty crappy, $250 schwinn mountain bike from Canadian Tire

That's a decent speed uphill, but make sure your breaks aren't giving you extra resistance from rubbing against your wheels and your chain/gears are well aligned (like mine did straight from the store).

I don't have a car, so I bike or walk to just about everything. School is about 3.5 miles away and I do a round trip every day including weekends (my instrument is at school so I practice there). The groceries and errands, the occasional trip somewhere, walking across campus or wherever for whatever.

I get by pretty well for never going to the gym. I'm still a bit overweight but my endurance is quite good and thanks to nightly basic stretches and a reasonable diet I'm doing pretty well for the overall health thing.
