I moved my Fury some months ago, knowing that the next gen was coming and would either be too tempting to resist, or would bump prev gen prices down. Yes, that means I've been relegated to onboard vid since before Thanksgiving. Help?

evga queue is the best bet now without living on F5

most likely for 1 to 3 months for stock to catch up if it does

Welcome to the hellscape Lupine.

Personally. I'm just trying to source a used Radeon Vega 56/64 at a reasonable price till this all blows over :(

I could have got a 3070, 3090 STRIX, 3090 TUF, or 6800XT today at my Microcenter.

Lupine, next time I'm there, PM me what card you would like/prefer and I will buy it and sell to you at cost+shipping.

:yep:

i have almost resigned myself and given up

gave my 1080 ti to my sister to replace her Fury x that was running out of gas at 4k in WoW
and i'll stick with the 2080 ti till May or July or so

or wait till next gen

At Amazon.... bots clean up in seconds. If you're not using one it's impossible to get one in the cart.

i know but it won't kill me to wait

the only game that kills my 2080 ti strix is 2077 and it may well take them even longer to fix that

and even in that i can live with 4k RT DLSS off and get 35 to 40 FPS that is ok with G-Sync and i think it should get better as they fix it with the next two big patches

nothing on a 3080 ti today from nvidia :hmm:

better than

only problem

Power hungry: It definitely chews more power down, and if you crank it up to maximum then the card really chows down on your power. If you were to liquid cool or have LN2 cooling, the ASUS ROG Strix RTX 3080 OC Edition would scream, with its 118% power limit and 3 x 8-pin PCIe power connectors.

i would need a waterblock also

https://www.tweaktown.com/reviews/9...-rtx-3080-oc-edition/index.html#Benchmarks-4K

but 930 + 180 still a better buy than a 3090
