AMD 290 giveaway

Finally some pics :)

I did give it a quick run after I installed it and it definately provided noticeable improvement :)

Granted again I only had CoD Ghosts to use as a litmus test (its my most recent game......) but knowing it ran somewhat not great at medium settings on my 5870, it ran smooth as butter on maxed settings on the 290 :D. I have no doubts it'll run more recent titles at higher resolutions (I stuck at 1680X1050 cuz my monitor is old and small) without issue and before I start seeing the effects of CPU bottlenecking. And now ill be able to get some of the more recent titles I've kind of wanted (Doom being one) and have it run smoothly and without issue :)

The last time I had problems with recent games of the time is when I had an X800XT which didn't have Shader 2.0 or whatever it was support so I couldn't run any newer games (Bioshock needed some kind of hack to run). The 5870 has hit that wall again (although not as bad as I think some newer games can run on it as long as its DX11)

I did have a red screen crash though but that might have been me mucking around with the settings too much (plus I think my PC is going to need a software purge and optimization....its starting to slow down some)

Yeah I gave that dust cake a quickie.
But the computer needs a full on blowbang. That'll come soon.

Also I think I might need to move the 290 to the second PCI-E slot, its damn near touching the sound card.

Or I could move the sound card to the other white PCI-E slot (which is directly under the 290, the angle doesn't show it in the pic) whichever is a better idea.

Might be good if the xonar cards shroud is metal or conductive so you dont bump it and short out the gpu :yep:

Wait 10 minutes then take your pants off.

Spin around 3 times then suplex the nearest piece of furniture you can lift.

If that's too much take a pic of the card and tell people to draw it like one of those French whores pick the hottest one and send them the card.

yes.. you won the stale paint thats been sitting in a water bucket for approximately 6mths. I plan on skimming the top layer(mostly bacteria) and sending your way. CSIS might red flag it but im willing to take that chance for you hap.

Put everyones name in a hat.
But also put like 5x the amount of your own name in that hat. If you pull out someones name, they win.
But if you pull out your own name, you eliminate someone via dice roll. (put the contestants names on a list in no particular order. Roll 2 dice to eliminate the person)
Always replace the names you pulled out so even the eliminated person's name can still be in the hat. If you pull the eliminated person's name out of the hat (unfortunate if they got eliminated) they also become an eliminator so that their name also allows you to eliminate someone else from the list.

So you can win by getting your name pulled out of the hat, or you can win by being the last person remaining in the hat. And you can get screwed over by getting eliminated prior to having your name pulled from the hat. :D
