Ok, Serious question-
Should I just get an R9 Fury OC+ or wait till Vega?
I'd throw the 780Ti in PCIe 2 slot and fold with it also on this board so this rig would be putting out 600-700K PPD with the R9 Fury. (or more if I try and unlock some of the CUs..)
BUT-
I hear Vega will have massive double precision capabilities so, it could top the R9 Fury for around the same price or even more.
Baseline is this- gaming, I game at 1080p. 3GB on this 780Ti is gimping it badly on BF1. So, 4GB HBM will be an improvement. lol.

lol. Yea, but I'd be using a 2+ year old tech card then. Just want to peek at what Vega has in store. If its not much of a gain, I'll just get a Fury. But, when I get a new GPU... Its gonna be something that lights up I guess. Cause.. my new case is tempered glass on 4 sides now. lol

The stats are really messed up right now. My last two point updates have been way way too high. Noticing this from other users on other teams, but in the meantime, I'll enjoy my 1 million point update

So I went by FoldingForum to report the issue, and saw another thread there about the stats. Turns out that some of my WUs were not being credited, for at least the past two weeks (though I think it's been intermittent since the end of Feb). I did notice the drop in production, but after checking my hardware and not finding any issues, I just assumed that FAHControl was overestimating my points or something
For those getting tons of credit today, it's not a mistake, it's simply points for WUs that you completed but were not credited for.

I think it was CPU based WUs which were affected. Looking at your stats, it looks like you did have a few WUs that weren't previously credited
So pumped for VEGA. And I'm also hoping for a decent price range, and hopefully huge gains over the R9

Interesting. Finally a reason to use folding for a CPU again!
The new CPU projects give more points; still not as good as GPU folding, but better than it used to be
Prepping for summer, so some minor changes are being tested today.
FX8320 voltages are being dropped to 1.275V @ 4.1Ghz (So far, stable, but its hard telling long term) Got a 2C drop in temp from that going from 1.304V. VRMs reporting 74-81W power draw so a decent drop from 88-103W.
Lowered 780Ti clocks to 1,175Mhz. (1C drop in temps)
RAM timings won't change till it gets actually hot.. so they are still CAS8,1T @ 1866.

Kinda forced to do the same thing
Since I started playing the new Mass Effect game both FAHcontrol and Webcontrol stopped working...not being able to pause/fold when I wanted to play the game made me uninstall fah until I finish the game...only have 1 1070 in service now...
