MSI GeForce RTX 2070 GAMING Z Performance Review

Good chip, poorly priced. Hardocp just didn't disrespect nvidia but all the websites that are under nda. Kyle has lost respect and this was a mistake. He should of waited to release this review.

Why should he have? He did not sign any NDA and got the part, it's called a scoop.

Agree on the pricing, all of Turing is a rip off.

????????????? he's not under an NDA.

how does he lose respect for literally doing gamers a favor and reviewing the card so that they can find out if it's worth purchasing sooner?

So you believe those that don't play Nvidia's game, should still sit and wait for all those that do play Nvidia's game? That is pure BS. Other reviewers had the same choices, and they chose to sign the NDA which forces them to wait to release a review. Don't hold Kyle or any other reviewer accountable for those that chose to give their balls to Nvidia.

How about all those that didn't sign the NDA for the 2080 and 2080ti? I guess they should have all waited to release their reviews so the reviewers that didn't sign the NDA could purchase the cards, test them and write up their reviews. You know, out of respect.

Heck, I still haven't seen the 2080ti review from [H}ardocp, as they didn't get their cards until October 8, so they are still testing and writing up the review.

This is known in the industry as a d**k move. Basically guarantees no other reviewer will loan you pre-release review samples. Gamers Nexus is also not under NDA but they generally abide by embargo dates for this reason.

Whoop-de-doo... it performs like a 1080 for more money just as predicted.

This, Gamers Nexus and Hardware Unboxed like to state that they are not under NDA but won't break it in respect to others in the community that are under NDA.

Kyle doing it is just for kicks and the fact that he doesn't really give a **** about the community other then to get peeps to visit his site.

Kyle's done some awesome stuff in the past for the community, Infinium Labs, the EK Predator re-call and Nvidia's GPP. But then you have stupidity like this or the AMD Fury fiasco or the MSAA BattleField Bad Company 2 stupidity ( that got a few of us banned from the site ).

Kyle has also placed msi in a bad position by not waiting for the embargo date. This is a huge mistake by hardocp throwing msi under the bus.

who cares MSI has never done me any favors **** em

Nvidia or MSI or Asus at these prices they all need to be kicked under the bus or maybe a high speed train and then backed over a few timed and then set on fire :bleh:
I'll bring the marshmallows

Kyle wants to pull their tails good i'm all for it

someone always goes first or jumps the gun , Intel did it to the real reviewers themselves

Oh, it was time. Nvidia is focusing on the enterprise, car industry, remote play. They talk about gamers, but their prices have kept on climbing for years now. CPUs, storage, game consoles, and display tech have gone the other way. Nvidia [engineers] are amazing, but the Nvidia [marketing] is not doing a good job. Trying to make the only gamer space they have their own? That's going to last a few years, until it gets really tiresome...

The prices you said you were willing to pay? I'm getting really confused at this point.

Just a few days ago you were foaming at the mouth with that insurance money waiting for MSI and ASUS to release the hounds so you can go ham.

What gives with the bipoliarity gai?

just because I'm paying it does not mean I like it
and it only cost me a sore shoulder

and doesn't mean i will ever get one as they are trickling in drop by drop by one and two ti cards a day :hmm:

B&H sold two Strix early today it maybe a week at this rate before more show up

Your Kyle bias is showing here. He bought the card and scooped the review. Good for him.

How? They did not give him a card, if you read the first introduction paragraph of the review, you would see where he purchased it overseas, and did not get it from Nvidia or any of it's AIB.

This was done all fair and square as any of the other reviewers could have done the same thing... Oh wait... they signed a NDA.. sucks to be them and have your hands tied.

Who cares about Kyle... the 2070 numbers don't impressive at all for that price tag.

$1k plus for a GPU which is pretty much a side step to the 1080. You can forget RT on this thing...so what exactly are you paying for again? Just grab a 1080 Ti same price.

Msi asked kyle to take down the review and basically adhere to the embargo date.
