Skyrim Mods Thread

I think I am done modding! I switched to Mod Organizer and redid many of my mods and I think I finally got to a spot where I can start actually playing the game. ^_^

I did just run and get another 8GB of ram so...

/sneaks away to check nexus.

I'm set too.

I stopped modding this and I'm now going through my final play through.Once this is done I don't want to know anything more about it.

Looks good.

Mind grabbing a screen shot on the standing stones near Riverwood but facing towards Riverwood for me?

Thanks.

What grass tree mod are you using?

I installed realistic clouds and it looks more like and ENB now.

You really need to try this in 3D

If you download these images and add .jps extensions to them you'll be able to open them in Nvidia 3D vision photo viewer. The first is

i've been wanting to visit again, but scared away by the obscene number of mods available :(

edit - btw, was anyone able to perfect the mod that allowed a person to ride a carriage from point-to-point?

What texture pack(s) should I use?

I have a GTX470 with 4gb of ram so something seemingly high end like Skyrim Mod Combiner might out of the question.

I'm getting a hard time getting ENB to work, anyone here knows a decent guide for me to read?

Turn off Steam overlay if you missed it, settings<ingame its mostly just copy paste for every thing enb just tanks my amd 6300 and 290x.

BIG Fan of Scout armor the original is a brown color of the scout bow and daggers you can smith these items about 10-15% higher rating than vanilla items.

So I see you guys are all Skyrim veterans and so you are trying out all sorts of mods.

But I am a total newbie to Skyrim.
Yes, never played it. And I want to.

Please tell me which mods you recommend I get based on this:

1 - I would really like to keep an unaltered, vanilla gameplay experience (so no rebalance mods, no extra npcs mods, no tweaked items, no combat mods, no extra weapons etc).

2 - 60fps at 2560x1080 and minor AA (like FXAA is fine for me, or say the cheapest 4x) no other forced quality settings like Anisotropic or anything really. I have a GTX970 4GB, an i5 6600K (minor overclock cant remember now), 16GB DDR4 and 2x Samsung 850 Evos in Raid0.

3 - I would like visual enhancing mods mostly. Beauty. Eye candy. Textures, lighting etc. But if one of the recommended mods is too taxing on the system I'd gladly let it go. I value smooth fps more than stretching those final 3% of image quality. For instance in Witcher 3 I turned down shadow quality and a notch or two of water quality, because the smoothness was worth it.

Please tell me which mods to install for my first ever playthrough of Skyrim!

:)   ;)
