Wait for AMD to make its Big Navi move before you buy the Nvidia RTX 3080

I honestly hope they are keeping the train under wraps because most of what I have seen is not competing with the 3080 at this point.

Same here. It's not looking like they're going to be a 3080 at this point. If anything they will have more vram, so NV may drop the prices, but they're all going to be sold out anyway.

AMDs latest propaganda seems to be that their 5700XT is finally faster than 2070 Super. I saw like 5 reviews pop up on my tube stream mentioning it. lolwtf.

Some good insights here that may want to make some wait and see how this all plays out:

can i ask if you have some insider info? Im just wondering how you came to that conclusion since there is precisely zero info on performance of big navi compared to the 3080 at this point. Closest thing we have is that digital foundry testing of gears 5 on the new xbox(which was surprisingly good).

I'm still confused how 195% to 175% is 11% lol, but **** it.

I don't really know anyone taking UserBenchmark seriously though. Gimme the Superposition scores!!

Yeah, but it's really a 20% increase from 175% to 195%. 11% makes sense if it was 175FPS to 195FPS, but that's not the case. 175 percent to 195 percent is a 20 percent increase.

It's an additional 20% compared to the 100% baseline, however they compare it to the 175% 2080ti. 11% more then that lands it at 195% compared to the 100% baseline.

This is worthless article and comparison, even the comments acknowledge this. Bill you had to avoid the major sites and dig deep in the gutter for this one, didn't you? Go check out the reviews thread.

in all fairness Exposed, did you notice the time stamp of Bill's post? Big stretch in accusing him of avoiding something that wasn't available at the time. I know.. if he only waited 3 more hours........

Nothing to do with the time it was a worthless article based on userbench . If you're not sure why userbench is meaningless, then do yourself a favor and do some research into it (it has to do with their averages and how it's derived).

Thus, the vast online community has shunned userbench. To reach this as "valid" is, well reaching. Regardless of when posted. This should be clear as day now when compared to actual reviews, userbench was completely off the mark.
