The Rage3d Fitness Thread

Today's jog was 2 miles in 21 minutes, pretty standard for me these days. Need to lose about 60 pounds, and I bet I can get down to an 8 minute mile.
 
I think I missed some runs, but added some distance on today.

First run with the new haircut, kept my head a lot cooler and didn't have my hair in my face or annoying me the whole time. Definitely a positive change.

I also took a new route, instead of going my normal route I started running towards downtown Buda, with the goal of turning around at 2 miles. Wound up turning around IN downtown Buda, which was pretty nice. Even had a train come through town while I was running, and my timing wound up being perfect as the train cleared as I reached the railroad crossing. Did a lot of off road running too, as the shoulder wasn't always properly marked on the roads I was running on.

I’m at roughly a week with no workouts due to the ribs. I hate it. I think I’ll start hitting the spin bike tomorrow and see how I feel next week regarding any lifting.
 
I've been running. I'm not using an app or timing myself. But I'm probably right around the 8 minutes per mile range too.

Kind of depressing watching the Olympics and seeing the 1500m being done in like 4 minutes. And then realizing that's the women's time and the men are crushing that time.

Not setting any PBs today, my left calf was sore this morning. Stretched it extra before the run but it wound up coming back in the last half. Oh well, got my 4 miles in. Will continue to stretch that calf today, and foam roll it when I get home.

Wasn't sure I was gonna do this run, woke up sore and with a headache, but Aleve, coffee, and stretching fixed that. Was hoofing it the first mile, other than doggie union mandated piss breaks, second mile went okay, but had to take more walk breaks, the first mile wore me out.

First half went great, finished 2 miles in under 18 minutes, last mile was rough as the sun came out a lot more and made me hot. Feels like I sweated a lot more than normal too.
 
Staying consistent Elysian :up:

I started lifting again this week. The ribs are letting me know they’re there, but nothing too painful. It’s amazing how much of a slug I feel like after only a couple of weeks off :(
 
Well when i started working about a month ago i could barely get the second loop of my belt on now i can do the 4th lol.
 
Took a hard fall at the skatepark earlier this week, got a huge bruise on my butt/hip. Feeling much better now, but it'll be a couple more days before I'm jogging or skateboarding again.

Not sure if pb, but was a solid first 2 miles, did that in around 17 minutes. 3rd mile was a struggle but found a 2nd wind for the 4th mile
